Russia’s Supreme Court on Thursday ruled that Jehovah’s Witnesses were an “extremist” organization and must disband and hand over all property to the state, Reuters said.

The Independent National Electoral Commission has announced that it would conduct fresh elections in areas where voting was disrupted in the violence-marred Rivers States polls of March 19.
