Exclusive: Fadekemi Momoh Premieres First Movie 'Thin Line'

On Sunday, December 20, fast rising Nollywood actress cum producer Fadekemi Momoh premiered her first movie Thin Line (Isejukan), in Lagos.

The premiere which took place at Grandeur event center, Billings Way, Oregun Lagos, was well attended by family, friends, movie marketer and colleagues in the movie industry such as Mercy Aigbe, Ayo Adesanya, Iyabo Ojo, Leye Adeshile, Doris Simeon, Uche Iwuji, Biodun Okeowo and others.
The event was well packaged by veteran Nollywood actress and entrepreneur, Iyabo Ojo C.E.O Fespris world event and anchored by Nollywood actor Yomi Fagboyo. Other side attractions at the premiere of Thin Line, includes musical performance by actress Dayo Amusa, and dance performance by youngsters, Five Star Exclusive.
Speaking on her movie Thin Line, Fadekemi Momoh disclosed that her new movie is about a mother who enjoys dating younger men and despite being warned by so many including her own daughter, she ends up dating her daughter’s fiancé without realizing it.
The movie produced under the her Anjy’s World Entertainment movie production features the likes of Iyabo Ojo, Bolanle Ninalowo, Mercy Aigbe, Ayo Adesanya, Leye Adeshile, Jaiye Kuti among others. It was directed by Damola Olatunji and shot by Blessing Adejumo.

Immigration Arrests Two Foreigners With PVCs In Plateau

The Nigeria Immigration Service in Plateau State said it has arrested non-Nigerians in possession of the Permanent Voter Cards. The NIS Comptroller in the state, Raymond Jaja, named the suspects as Nnekema Abu from Bukina-Faso, who was picked by immigration officials in Langtang South and Rubaila Ibrahim a Cameroonian, who claimed to be married to a Nigerian but displaced during the attacks in Borno. Mr. Jaja disclosed this Wednesday in Jos. The Comptroller stressed “The service has received information that foreigners were conniving with unscrupulous persons in producing security documents that would qualify them in participating in the elections. “They should know that foreigners are not eligible to participate in any electoral process in Nigeria. The attention of the service have gathered that some foreigners in Plateau possess Permanent Voters Cards and other critical national security documents”.

Fashola is a conspirator in the threat to life of Igbos - Lagos PDP says, demands Oba's suspension

PDP in Lagos state says that the 48-hour silence of Governor Fashola since the Oba of Lagos made death threats to Igbos indicates that not only is Fashola in agreement with what the Oba said, but that the Oba spoke on behalf of the state government. In a statement released today, the party demanded for the suspension of the Oba until after the elections. The statement reads in part; "The governor is thus a conspirator in this threat to life and must also be held accountable for any violence in this elections. We have at this point been vindicated about the desperation of the APC to retain Lagos state at all cost including the All Progressives Congress’ plan not to concede the imminent defeat on April 11. The positions of the PDP are coming on the heels of the now viral threat issued by the Oba of Lagos to Igbos that they must vote for the APC Governorship Candidate, Akinwunmi Ambode, or be drowned in Lagos water."
