Mockingjay Part 2: A Phenomenal Conclusion to The Hunger Games Saga

The final instalment in the world-wide phenomenon has delivered in many ways. Mockingjay Part 2 is filled with action, romance and intense drama.
This emotional finale will keep audiences captive for about two hours, which is much better than Part 1 that could at times be a snore fest. Even though Mockingjay Part 2 is probably the series best film yet, the box ratings beg to differ. Mockingjay Part 2 is definitely dominating ratings world-wide but it has decreased in numbers since the initial release of The Hunger Games in 2012. In fact, Part 2 has premiered to lower ratings than Part 1.
But forget the ratings for a second. With today's world, filled with terrorist attacks and bombings, Mockingjay could not have aired at a better time. Yes, this franchise is a science fiction movie, but it has a hidden message at heart. In the final moments we see a tragic bomb attack that kills thousands, mostly children. It's definitely upped the gruesome factor and sensitive audience will be brought to tears once they see the devastation of bombings and attacks.


However, lovers of this franchise will surely be delighted with this film especially after the beautiful ending. Those of you that haven't invested into this series yet are missing out on a true masterpiece. Don't miss out on this truly amazing coming of age story with a heroine every girl and boy should look up to.

T.B. Joshua Sued for Collapsed Building

Prophet TB Joshua will be arraigned before a court in Lagos next week over the collapse of a six-storey building in his church at Ikotun, Lagos state Western Nigeria. Prophet T.B Joshua, The founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), made news headlines after the collapsed building in the church premises claimed over 90 lifes while over 100 were rescued from the debris, most of whom were South Africans. Following the incident, the Lagos State Government set up a judicial panel to look into the cause of the collapse building. The panel is scheduled to start sitting on Monday 13 October at the Lagos State Hight court at Ikeja, Lagos. Our correspondent gathered that all the parties involved have been summoned to appear before the panel when it begins sitting.
