A Marriage of About 11 Years ended because of Facebook

A customary court in Ado Ekiti, just this Friday deemed it fit to dissolve a marriage that has been for about eleven years now. Why? The Almighty Facebook!

According the court and the evidence tendered before it, it was clear that both parties have been long apart.
This petition filed by the husband, Muyiwa Owolabi against his wife was termed Facebook adultery. Ever heard of anything like that?
That the wife, Tinuola had for a long time now been addicted to her serial boyfriends on Facebook, which had made her neglect caring for their children.

By reason of the evidence produced, the court decided to grant custody of the children to the husband and of course they can still occasionally allow access by the wife, given that the man is

Fashola is a conspirator in the threat to life of Igbos - Lagos PDP says, demands Oba's suspension

PDP in Lagos state says that the 48-hour silence of Governor Fashola since the Oba of Lagos made death threats to Igbos indicates that not only is Fashola in agreement with what the Oba said, but that the Oba spoke on behalf of the state government. In a statement released today, the party demanded for the suspension of the Oba until after the elections. The statement reads in part; "The governor is thus a conspirator in this threat to life and must also be held accountable for any violence in this elections. We have at this point been vindicated about the desperation of the APC to retain Lagos state at all cost including the All Progressives Congress’ plan not to concede the imminent defeat on April 11. The positions of the PDP are coming on the heels of the now viral threat issued by the Oba of Lagos to Igbos that they must vote for the APC Governorship Candidate, Akinwunmi Ambode, or be drowned in Lagos water."

Immigration Arrests Two Foreigners With PVCs In Plateau

The Nigeria Immigration Service in Plateau State said it has arrested non-Nigerians in possession of the Permanent Voter Cards. The NIS Comptroller in the state, Raymond Jaja, named the suspects as Nnekema Abu from Bukina-Faso, who was picked by immigration officials in Langtang South and Rubaila Ibrahim a Cameroonian, who claimed to be married to a Nigerian but displaced during the attacks in Borno. Mr. Jaja disclosed this Wednesday in Jos. The Comptroller stressed “The service has received information that foreigners were conniving with unscrupulous persons in producing security documents that would qualify them in participating in the elections. “They should know that foreigners are not eligible to participate in any electoral process in Nigeria. The attention of the service have gathered that some foreigners in Plateau possess Permanent Voters Cards and other critical national security documents”.
