Star Wars: The Force Awakens opens in South African Cinema's

The wait is finally over for Star Wars fans. After baring an agonizing decade long wait, the highly anticipated new movie aired on Wednesday all over the world including South Africa. The seventh instalment in the franchise, The Force Awakens, is arguably one of the most anticipated movies of all time and experts say it might even become the highest grossing movie ever. After trending on Twitter for three days, fans flocked to their nearest cinema anxious to see what their heroes would be up to after all this time

To make the experience even better is the first ever 4DX cinema's in Africa. Now South Africans can enjoy the special effects and jaw dropping scenes with their eyes and body. The new 4DX cinema was created by the company ACJ 4DPLEX, who teamed up with Nu Metro Cinema's to bring South African fans a more interactive experience. The new technology allows fans to feel vibrations, water, wind and so much more so that fans could feel as if they were apart of the movie.

But as expected, the price for such a ground breaking experience is quite costly. The tickets are sold at R150 each and can be bought on their website.
